Job summary

STV is seeking a Transportation Engineering Specialist in Tennessee, based in Franklin or Chattanooga. You will contribute to all stages of project development, from planning to final design, and work on road, bicycle, and rail projects for public agencies.

Responsibilities include design of alignments, drainage, traffic control, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, using MicroStation and Open Roads Designer. EIT is preferred; 0–4 years experience accepted.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 0-4 years of experience including internships.
• EIT Certification preferred.
• Exposure to transportation design or related field.
• Knowledge of Bentley MicroStation & Bentley Open Roads Designer is a plus, but we’ll teach you.
• Team player with curiosity and desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support on multidisciplinary projects.
• Assist with the design of alignments, grading, drainage, traffic control and other infrastructure/site design.
• Interact with client teams and engineers in other disciplines.
• Design using MicroStation and Open Roads Designer.
