Dallas Trailer Repair Co. is seeking an Entry Level Semi Trailer Technician in Lenexa, KS. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing trailers, plus performing routine maintenance and documenting work in our software system.

The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical aptitude, own tools, and the ability to work safely in a team or independently. HS diploma or GED required; vocational certification is a plus; valid driver’s license may be required for mobile work.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment knowledge or skill test/pass background check/drug screen.
• Ability to read and write in English for documentation and communication.
• Must own tools and safety gear (steel-toed shoes, welding protection).
• Possesses valid driver’s license if Mobile Technician position.
• Must be insurable per company policies.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and service trailers and related equipment for mechanical issues.
• Perform repairs according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Carry out routine maintenance on trailers and equipment.
• Document cause, complaint, and correction in the software system.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace and tools.
