Dallas Trailer Repair Co. is seeking an entry-level Semi Trailer Technician to perform routine maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on trailers and related equipment. The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED (Vocational certification preferred), own tools, and a valid driver’s license. Excellent communication and safety awareness are essential for this position.

• Must pass pre-employment knowledge/skill test and background check.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Must read and write in English for documentation and communication.
• Own tools and safety gear required (steel-toed shoes, welding protection).
• Valid driver's license required; insurability per insurer.
• H.S. diploma or GED; vocational certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair trailers and related equipment per standards and specs.
• Perform routine maintenance on trailers and equipment.
• Develop and document action plans for repairs and follow checklists/protocols.
• Use hand/power tools and precision devices to repair/adjust components.
• Document causes, repairs, and updates in software system.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow safety rules.
• Operate mobile repair vehicle or yard switcher as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
