Job summary

Wright is hiring a Traffic Controller in Largo, FL. Entry-level position with on-the-job training, weekly pay, and overtime, starting at $16.00/hour. You will help create safe work zones, set up cones, signs, and barriers to protect workers and pedestrians.

Responsibilities include flagging duties, maintaining zones, completing paperwork, and following Wright safety standards. Applicants must be 18+, have a smartphone, and pass a drug test.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a smartphone with internet access for timekeeping and communication to receive work schedule.
• Be able to work in all weather conditions and tolerate varying climates of heat, cold, and rain.
• Pass a drug screen prior to employment and maintain a drug free status.
• Be able to stand throughout your shift and perform flagging duties.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.

Responsibilities

• Setup, maintain, and remove temporary work zones per ATSSA/DOT regulations.
• Load and unload work zone equipment to/from the company vehicle.
• Complete and submit necessary paperwork before leaving the job site.
• Wear and maintain PPE per Wright policy.
• Ensure company vehicles are clean and safe; report issues.
