Wright of FL in Casselberry, FL is seeking a Traffic Controller to support construction teams by setting up safe work zones and guiding traffic. This entry-level role offers on-the-job training and overtime opportunities. No experience is required to start at $16.00 per hour.

You will be responsible for flagging, PPE usage, and following safety regulations while coordinating with the field team. Candidates must be 18+, have a smartphone, and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Smartphone with internet access for timekeeping.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Pass a drug screen and maintain a drug-free status.
• Must be able to stand for the entire shift.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.

Responsibilities

• Setup, maintain, and remove temporary work zones with signs and cones according to regulations.
• Load and unload work zone equipment at the job site.
• Complete and submit required paperwork before leaving the site.
• Wear and maintain proper PPE per Wright policy.
• Ensure company vehicles are clean and safe; report issues to management.
• Review job site details as provided by the office scheduler.
• Read Wright safety manual and employee handbook.
• Reports to a Field Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
