No prior experience is required; candidates must become certified in basic traffic safety through the company's training class. The Traffic Controller will work with construction teams to create safe work zones, set up cones and barriers, and guide traffic with signs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a smartphone with internet access for timekeeping and communication.
• Able to work in all weather conditions and tolerate varying climates.
• Pass a drug screen prior to employment and maintain a drug-free status.
• Able to stand for the full shift; hand and arm movement required.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Have reliable transportation to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones with signs and cones per regulations.
• Load and unload equipment to and from the company vehicle at the job site.
• Complete and submit required paperwork before leaving the last job site.
• Wear and maintain PPE per Wright policy.
• Keep company vehicles clean and report safety concerns.
• Review start times and job site addresses as provided by office scheduler.
• Read Wright safety manual and employee handbook.
• Report to a Field Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
