Penn-Metal-Stamping, Inc. is seeking a motivated entry-level Tool & Die Machinist to join our team. You will assist in setting up, maintaining, and repairing progressive stamping dies, operate mills, lathes, and surface grinders, and read blueprints with precision measurement tools.

Qualifications

• Basic machining experience or trade school training preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and grow within tool & die.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup, maintenance, and repair of progressive stamping dies and related components (punches, die sections, strippers, etc.)
• Operate manual and CNC machines including mills, lathes, and surface grinders
• Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and die layouts
• Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and support production efficiency
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
