Job summary

Tire Discounters in Knoxville, TN, is seeking an Advance Tire Technician to join our team. You will replace, repair, and rotate tires on customer vehicles, with hands-on training to develop toward more advanced roles.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer service; you will work with shop equipment, complete work orders, and provide a WOW experience for customers while building your automotive career.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Available to work Saturdays.

Your Role As An Advance Tire Technician

As a Tire Technician, you'll play a key role in replacing, repairing, and rotating tires on customer vehicles. This position offers hands‑on training geared towards helping you build the skills needed for more advanced roles.

What You'll Do

• Install and repair tires.
• Operate balancers and tire machines.
• Complete work orders accurately.
• Maintain and organize the shop and equipment.
• Assist customers and co‑workers as needed.
• Provide outstanding customer service by meeting the customers' needs.
• Promote a safe and collaborative work environment.

Compensation & Perks

• Effective Pay: $14.00-$16.00+ per hour
• Your effort pays off. Earn additional income through overtime and weekly commission opportunities.
