Job summary

Tire Discounters in Florence, KY, is seeking an entry level Tire Technician to join our team. You’ll gain hands-on training while performing tire installation, repair, and rotation in a fast-paced shop. This position emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork.

You’ll operate tire balancers and machines, complete work orders accurately, and help keep the shop organized. Authorized to work in the USA, you can earn $14.00–$16.00+ per hour with overtime and weekly commission opportunities,

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the USA (18+) and able to stand for long periods.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willing to work Saturdays and follow safety procedures.

Your Role as an Entry Level Tire Technician:

As a Tire Technician, you'll play a key role in replacing, repairing, and rotating tires on customer vehicles. This position offers hands-on training geared towards helping you build the skills needed for more advanced roles.

What You'll Do:

• Install and repair tires.
• Operate balancers and tire machines.
• Complete work orders accurately.
• Maintain and organize the shop and equipment.
• Assist customers and co-workers as needed.
• Provide outstanding customer service by meeting the customers' needs.
• Promote a safe and collaborative work environment.

Requirements

Your Skills & Qualifications:

• Service-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
• Team collaboration skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Available to work Saturdays.
• Authorized to work in the USA (18+).
• Comfortable with occasional mechanical hazards and outdoor conditions.
• Effective Pay: $14.00–$16.00+ per hour
