Job summary

Elective Staffing is hiring Retread technicians in Newton, NC for 3 shifts. No prior experience required; strong work ethic and reliable transportation are expected. Responsibilities include inspecting tires, buffing old tread, applying new tread, and maintaining records.

Safety and quality are emphasized, with a retention bonus after 30 days. Shifts run Mon-Fri 4am-12pm, 12pm-8pm, and Sun-Thurs 8pm-4am. Base pay starts at $17/hr for day and evening shifts, $18/hr for night shift, with pay

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires for damage and assess if they are suitable for retreading.
• Buff tires to remove old tread and prepare them for retreading.
• Apply new treads to tires using retreading equipment.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking tire quantities and types.
• Ensure all retreaded tires meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
