Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Sector in Huntsville seeks an Entry Level Test Engineer to join a diverse team solving complex problems in defense, including hardware and software test planning. in CE/CS/EE, basic testing experience, be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain DoD clearance, and be willing to relocate or reside in Northern Alabama.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering.
• Basic understanding of developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
• Direct, hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.
• Ability to document test artifacts, test results, and supporting technical deliverables.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.
• Resident of Northern Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL.

Basic Qualifications

• The position requires an ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering.
• Candidates must have basic understanding of developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
• Candidates must have direct, hands‑on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.
• Ability to document test artifacts, test results, and supporting technical deliverables.
• Candidate must be US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.
• Candidate must be a resident of Northern Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL.

Preferred Qualifications

• 0+ years of experience with test planning and execution.
• Basic knowledge and operation of electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, voltmeter, signal analyzer/generator)
• Basic experience software languages Python and LabVIEW.
• Basic experience with Linux, MATLAB, and Wireshark.

Pay Range

Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
