Leidos Defense, Systems Integration and TestTeam, is seeking an Associate Test Engineer . We are a diverse team that works to implement unique solutions for complex problems in the defense sector, including but not limited to kinetic and directed energy defensive and offensive platforms as well as RADAR and other surveillance and sensor technologies. Our team works across multiple business sectors, with industry partners, and directly with the customer. We strive to have a variety of skillsets personally and across the team to meet the needs of our customers.
Creating, modifying, and executing test plans to satisfy program requirements.
Completing requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
Briefing both internal and external parties on test results and data.
The position may require minimal travel for test events (approximately 4 weeks a year).
Requires an ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering with 2+ years of prior experience or Master’s degree in related field.
Candidates must have experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.
Familiarity with tracking test results, defects, and verification evidence.
Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
US Citizenship is required and ability to obtain and maintain and DoD Secret clearance.
The position may require working outside in all weather conditions and lifting up to 50 pounds.
2+ years of experience with test planning and execution.
Working knowledge and operation of electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, voltmeter, signal analyzer/generator)
Working knowledge of software languages Python and LabVIEW.
General experience with Linux, MATLAB, and Wireshark.

Pay Range $69,550.00 - $125,725.00
