Job summary

AutoNation, America’s largest automotive retailer, is seeking an Express Service Technician to perform vehicle maintenance with efficiency and accuracy. You will support dealer standards, ensure customer trust, and contribute to service excellence across a nationwide network.

Role emphasizes learning through OEM training, documentation, and teamwork with Parts and Service Advisors. HS diploma and a valid Texas license required; express lube experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as express/quick lube technician preferred.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards, to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with the Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
