Sullivan Tire and Auto Service in Massachusetts seeks an Entry Level Technician to perform entry-level vehicle maintenance and tire service while delivering high quality and customer satisfaction. You will work with store management to support productivity, profitability, and service standards, and you will adhere to internal controls and procedures in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs.
• Basic conflict resolution skills.
• Basic understanding of automotive tire and auto service industry.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Mount/Dismount tires, balance and repair for passenger and light truck tires.
• Perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
• Conduct and document vehicle safety inspections.
• Perform unsupervised vehicle maintenance repairs (headlights, belts, batteries, wiper blades).
• Collaborate with store management to maintain productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a neat, clean work area and proper waste disposal.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

The Entry Level Technician performs entry-level vehicle maintenance repairs and services on customers’ vehicles while delivering the highest quality and customer satisfaction. Work with store management to ensure productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction standards are met. Adheres to internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Correctly mounts, dismounts, balancing, and repair of passenger and light truck tires.
• Properly perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
• Properly perform and document vehicle safety inspections.
• Perform unsupervised vehicle maintenance repairs including, but not limited to, headlights, fan belts, batteries, and wiper blade replacement.
• Work with store management to ensure productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction standards are met.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a neat and clean work area by properly disposing of all waste products.
• Assume other responsibilities as needed.
