Job summary

Sullivan Tire And Auto Service in Melrose, MA is hiring an Entry Level Technician to perform entry-level vehicle maintenance and tire service, delivering quality and customer satisfaction. You will work with store management to support productivity, profitability, and service standards while adhering to internal controls and procedures.

Responsibilities include mounting/dismounting tires, oil/filter changes, light maintenance, safety inspections, and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Customer service focus in a retail environment.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
• Basic conflict resolution skills.
• Basic understanding of automotive tire and auto service industry.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Correctly mount/dismount, balance, and repair tires for passenger and light truck vehicles.
• Perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
• Perform and document vehicle safety inspections.
• Undertake unsupervised vehicle maintenance repairs (e.g., headlights, belts, batteries, wiper blades).
• Collaborate with store management to maintain productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

The Entry Level Technician performs entry-level vehicle maintenance repairs and services on customers’ vehicles while delivering the highest quality and customer satisfaction. Work with store management to ensure productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction standards are met. Adheres to internal controls, policies, and procedures.

The Entry Level Technician performs entry-level vehicle maintenance repairs and services on customers’ vehicles while delivering the highest quality and customer satisfaction. Work with store management to ensure productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction standards are met. Adheres to internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Correctly mounts, dismounts, balancing, and repair of passenger and light truck tires.
• Properly perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
• Properly perform and document vehicle safety inspections.
• Perform unsupervised vehicle maintenance repairs including, but not limited to, headlights, fan belts, batteries, and wiper blade replacement.
• Work with store management to ensure productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction standards are met.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a neat and clean work area by properly disposing of all waste products.
