Job summary

Campers Inn RV is seeking an entry level RV Technician in Ohio. No prior experience is required, and we provide free basic tools after 12 months of employment.

This safety‑sensitive role involves routine maintenance, inspections, and assisting with repairs to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC components. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• License & Certifications: Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.
• Experience: No experience necessary.
• Abilites: Communicate effectively, read and interpret documents, use hand and power tools, comply with OSHA safety, safely handle solvents/chemicals, move RVs, perform physical tasks.
• Move RVs and lift up to 50 pounds, stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• This is a safety-sensitive position.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks and lubrication.
• Assist in inspecting and testing for defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to fit units.
• Assist in repairing and maintaining plumbing, electrical, and HVAC components.

Essential Job Functions

• This is a safety-sensitive position.
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, lubricating equipment and machinery.
• Assist in inspecting and testing for defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to fit unit.
• Assist in repairing and maintaining plumbing, electrical, and/or HVAC components.

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.

  • Ability to comply with OSHA regulations regarding protective clothing and equipment.
  • Ability to safely use solvents and chemicals.
  • Ability to move RVs of various sizes.
  • Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift at least 50 pounds.
