Job summary

Campers Inn RV is seeking an Entry Level RV Technician to join our team. We provide free basic tools of your own after 12 months of employment, and no experience is necessary thanks to our in-house training program to learn on the job.

This role assists in diagnosis, inspection, adjustments, and repairs for recreational vehicles including travel trailers, with a safety-first approach and opportunities for career development across our growing network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver’s license is required.
• No experience necessary (training provided).
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and manuals.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to comply with OSHA regulations regarding PPE and safe work practices.
• Ability to move RVs of various sizes.

Responsibilities

• This is a safety sensitive position.
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery.
• Assist in inspecting and testing for defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to fit unit.
• Assist in repairing and maintaining plumbing, electrical, and/or HVAC components.

  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to comply with OSHA regulations regarding Protective Clothing and Equipment, such as goggles, gloves, etc
  • Ability to safely use solvents, and other chemicals
  • Ability to move RVs of various sizes
  • Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
