Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an Express Service Technician to perform vehicle maintenance per dealer and factory standards and to build customer loyalty by delivering trustworthy service. The role offers factory training, cutting-edge tools, and a clear path for advancement across the AutoNation network.

Responsibilities include maintenance work, coordinating with Parts and Service Advisors, documenting repairs, staying updated with technical bulletins, and delivering exceptional customer experiences

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience as an express/quick lube technician is preferred.
• Attention to detail is essential for quality and safety.
• Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and a safe driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance per repair order, in line with dealer and factory standards, to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicate regularly with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Stay current with factory bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.

What are the day‑to‑day responsibilities?

• Performing vehicle maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards, to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with the Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
