Job summary

AutoNation Express Service Technician position is seeking a detail-oriented individual to perform maintenance within dealership and factory standards, building trust with customers. The role emphasizes efficient diagnostics, regular communication with Parts and Service teams, and thorough documentation of work performed.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid in-state license, and prior express/quick-lube experience.

• Experience as express/quick lube technician preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintain safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance as outlined on the repair order, efficiently and accurately, to meet dealership and factory standards and drive customer loyalty.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Stay updated on factory bulletins and participate in training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.

What are the day‑to‑day responsibilities?

• Performing vehicle maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards, to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with the Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
