Job summary

Cisco is seeking an entry-level Technical Marketing Engineer in Milpitas, CA, to translate routing and SD-WAN capabilities into clear customer value. You will collaborate with mentors across Product Management, UX, and Sales, gaining exposure to the full product lifecycle while solving real-world customer challenges.

Responsibilities include building knowledge of Cisco Secure Routers, creating collateral, and supporting demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field completed within the last 3 years or expected within 12 months.
• Foundational IP networking knowledge (IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, routing, WAN).
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in writing and conversation.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Translate routing and SD-WAN capabilities into customer value with guidance from senior team members.
• Build foundational knowledge of Cisco Secure Routers, IOS XE, WAN connectivity, and SD-WAN architectures.
• Create technical collateral, presentations, solution briefs, FAQs, and demonstration scripts.
• Support labs and demonstrations by documenting topologies, configuration steps, and test results.
• Assist with product launches by organizing feature descriptions and field feedback.
• Gather feedback from customers and partners to improve messaging and requirements.
