Responsibilities

• Provide direct assistance to the classroom teacher in all daily routines.
• Supervise classroom groups and follow lesson plans in the teacher's absence.
• Understand classroom routines and special needs of students.
• Assist with small group work and individualized goals.
• Support classroom aides in toileting, lunch, and supervision duties.
• Respond to emergencies quickly and appropriately.
• Contribute to conferences and cooperate with schedules.
