Job summary

LP Building Solutions in Hanceville, Alabama, is seeking a teammate to operate a simple mobile equipment on the TechShield line within an OSB manufacturing facility. You will organize and manage finished product from mainline production and oversee product stored in the warehouse and shipping pad.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage finished product from mainline production.
• Organize product stored in warehouse and shipping pad
• Complete forklift inspection checklist
• Facilitate the process of re-graded product exiting the Tech Shield line
• Maintain supplies for Tech Shield strapper (cross-outs, Tech Shield bags, banding, glue, etc.)
• Assist with mill forklift needs
• Inventory and communicate downgraded material to Tech Shield Operator
• Perform general preventative maintenance on Tech Shield line
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Job Purpose

To operate a simple piece of mobile equipment with repetitive functions on the TechShield line in an OSB manufacturing facility.

In This Position You Will Have The Opportunity To

Education

Experience

• Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.

Work Environment

Plant environment with exposure to sawdust, chemicals, extreme temperatures (hot and cold), and other inclement conditions.
