Peak Metrology is seeking an Engineering Technician - Systems & Testing in Pittsburgh, onsite. You will work at the crossroads of hardware, software, and applications, applying troubleshooting expertise to rigorously test integrated systems and ensure product reliability.

As an entry-level role (0–5 years), you will build prototype rigs, configure lab hardware, document tests, and help mature testing processes while growing across engineering disciplines within the company.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's in Engineering Technology or related field.
• Entry-level to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on lab and hardware testing experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn Python or C# for automation.

Responsibilities

• Testing, quality execution, and documenting test results for software and hardware‑software systems.
• Diagnose issues to determine hardware, software, or test configuration faults.
• Build prototype rigs, wire components, configure test benches, and maintain labs.
• Bridge communication between software developers, application engineers, and non‑software stakeholders.
• Assist with pre‑sales testing and lab setup for internal customers.
• Support varied lab tasks to keep project timelines on track.
