Position: Systems Technician

Do you enjoy delivering a quality customer experience? Are you passionate about working with technology? Then join the Meijer Family as a Systems Technician in our Service Department at our Greenfield, WI Store Location!

As a Systems Technician, you will be responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. You will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service, and merchandising.

Additional responsibilities include ensuring price accuracy, troubleshooting and calling in broken technology equipment, and routine maintenance on registers and self-scans. The Systems Technician works closely with all departments across the store. Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask are essential for success in this role.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No experience required; training provided.
• Shifts start as early as 6 am - 3 pm. Sundays are mandatory.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
• Create ‘WOW’ moments that positively impact our customers.
• Handle transactions responsibly and maintain accuracy of point of sale purchases.
• Use good eye contact and body language, displaying a friendly and outgoing attitude.
• Handle customer questions adequately and appropriately.
• Build trustful relationships with customers to encourage return visits.

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older.
• Strong listening and communication skills, face-to-face and virtually.
• Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
• Problem-solving skills and eagerness to troubleshoot.
• Desire to work with customers.
• Previous retail or customer experience preferred but not required.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.

• Ability to operate cashier register system.
