Job summary

SAIC in Utah seeks an Associate Engineer to support the Sentinel Program for the Air Force at Hill Air Force Base. You will contribute under structured guidance, collaborating with experienced engineers and government stakeholders to deliver meaningful contributions.

You will gain hands-on experience in MBSE, requirements management with DOORS, and participation in design reviews as part of your early career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant engineering or physics field.
• 0–2 years of professional or internship experience in related fields.
• Ability to obtain an active U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the U.S. Air Force in managing internal deliverable review processes for the Sentinel program.
• Assist in basic evaluations of mechanical drawings and deliverables with mentorship.
• Contribute data preparation for Major Milestone Design Reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Provide entry-level support in requirements management using tools such as DOORS.
• Create reports, summaries, and presentations for senior engineers and Government leadership.
• Engage in MBSE training and apply systems engineering concepts.
