Actalent in Honolulu, HI seeks an entry-level Assistant Surveyor I to support field work and surveying tasks across topographic, construction, and boundary surveys. The role offers growth in surveying and civil engineering with mentorship and team collaboration.

The position focuses on learning surveying principles, coordinating with field crews, and maintaining accurate project documentation while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering, geoscience, or a related field.
• General knowledge of surveying or engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of surveying tasks from field work to project closeout.
• Assist in preparing topographic, construction, subdivision, boundary, ALTA surveys and related documents.
• Coordinate with field crews and office staff to ensure timely project delivery.
• Assist in directing work of interns and draftspersons as needed.
• Maintain project documentation including descriptions, permits, schedules and site observations.
• Advise on safety and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
