The State of Hawaii is recruiting a LAND SURVEYOR I to serve at the Oahu District Office. This role provides land survey support for highway construction and maintenance projects and may act as instrumentman on various surveys.

Responsibilities include reducing and plotting field notes, performing computations, and potentially serving as chief-of-party on routine surveys; work involves maps, deeds, and metes-and-bounds sources. Salary is monthly under SR-18 pay scale.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in land surveying, geo‑science, or engineering.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides land survey support for highway construction and maintenance projects.
• Acts as instrumentman on surveys using a transit, level, theodolite, and other survey instruments.
• Reduces and plots field notes and performs related computations.
• May serve as chief-of-party on routine surveys and compiles data from maps, deeds, land titles, metes and bounds descriptions.
