Shriners Children’s in Boston is seeking an entry‑level Surgical Tech I to join the operating room team. You will help prepare the OR, handle instruments, and maintain a sterile environment to ensure patient safety during procedures.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, certification as a Surgical Technologist, and CPR. Prior OR exposure is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals committed to learning and teamwork. A wonderful place to grow within a pediatric specialty system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist credential required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Anticipate, select, use and maintain equipment and supplies for surgical procedure.
• Prepare and maintain sterile field throughout surgical procedure.
• Follow established policies and procedures for sharps, sponge and instrument counts.
• Assist in transportation, housekeeping and Sterile Processing as assigned.
