Job summary

Trinity Health in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Full-time Supply Clerk to perform base-level tasks related to service fulfillment, disinfection & sanitation in patient-facing and back-office areas. The role supports patients, families & guests by providing inventory and data support and ensuring accurate supply distribution.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with the ability to complete additional education and competency tests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in healthcare, warehousing, or distribution is nice to have.
• Willingness to complete education, training and competency tests as required.

Responsibilities

• Requesting, receiving, distributing equipment and obsolescence management and stocking of general med-surg supplies in various healthcare settings.
• Works with end users to request supplies, troubleshoot supply issues, and resolve discrepancies as they occur.
• Maintains work and supply storage areas and equipment in a clean, up to date, organized and safe condition
• Performs periodic PAR level replenishment duties using various resupply procedures to maintain stock levels
• Serves as a frontline Supply support representative for ordering, data entry and payment activities.
• Assists Supply Leader with special assignments.
• 70%+ time provide inventory or data support

Position Purpose:

Performs essential base-level tasks and functions related to service fulfillment, disinfection & sanitation in patient facing, ancillary or back-office areas Provides service, support & colleague or customer support in accordance with level of experience, education, regulatory agency standards & established policies & procedures. Conducts daily functions in a compassionate, ethical & respectful manner. Supports patients, families & guests in exceeding their expectations. Demonstrates the ability to deliver personalized care & service unique to the patients' & families' expectations / needs.

What you will do:

• Duties include requesting, receiving, distributing equipment & obsolescence management & stocking of general med-surg supplies in various healthcare settings.

Hours/Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Weekend rotation approximately every 5th weekend.
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Have received a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Be able to complete additional education, training and competency tests as required.
  

Additional Qualifications (nice to have):

• Previous Supply experience in a healthcare, warehousing, or other distribution environment.
