Job summary

Oceaneering seeks an Electrical Engineer to support subsea electrical and electronic equipment, ROV tooling, and AUV systems. Based in Morgan City, LA, you will design, analyze, modify and test subsea equipment, with offshore travel required.

You will prepare project documentation, develop testing procedures, and support manufacturing and field campaigns, collaborating with customers and project teams to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a valid US Passport, TWIC & BOSIET.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare subsea systems for offshore campaigns, including design modifications and test equipment.
  • Develop testing procedures for qualification, factory acceptance, and offshore readiness testing.
  • Create and revise wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and system layouts.
  • Provide cost and labor estimates for proposals and progress reports.
  • Support manufacturing, testing, and offshore campaigns and interface with customers.
