Martin/Martin Wyoming, Inc. invites applications for an entry-level Civil Engineer to join the Civil Engineering Group in Cheyenne, Wyoming. You will work with multiple project managers on a broad range of project types and gain hands-on experience early in your career.

The role includes design calculations, CAD development, site visits, report writing, and field observations, with mentorship to help you grow as a civil engineer and learn building codes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an approved curriculum (Civil/Structural or related).
• Has passed FE Examination.
• 0–4 years’ experience.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to work in the Cheyenne, WY area.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and CAD drawings.
• Develop project components and systems details.
• Provide field observations during construction.
• Prepare and write technical reports and calculations.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and project managers.
• Support compliance with building codes and jurisdiction requirements.

Martin/Martin Wyoming, Inc is looking for an entry-level Civil Engineer to join our Civil Engineering Group in our Wyoming office. This engineer will work for multiple project managers on a broad range of project types.

Job Type

Full-time

A typical work week can include engineering calculations, drawing development, site visits, etc. This position allows for interactions with (owners, architects, contractors, etc.) early in your career along with opportunities for marketing activities.

Each project presents unique challenges and opportunities to learn and grow as an engineer. The successful candidate will develop expertise in a broad range of Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and use of computer design and CAD software
• Prepares details and calculations for project components and systems

• Checks own work

Requirements

Required

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an engineering curriculum in Civil, Structural, or related engineering field.
• Has passed FE Examination
• Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner and instills confidence in their communication and technical abilities
• 0-4 years’ experience
• Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to work in the Cheyenne, Wyoming area.

Working Conditions, Skills, And Abilities

This position is primarily technical in nature and requires working inside and outside the office to complete a wide range of activities. The following abilities are required:

• Move inside or outside the office and on non-ADA accessible construction sites
• Remain stationary for long periods of time
• Repetitive movement on tasks such as using a keyboard or mouse

Compensation

The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

• Base Salary: This is a salaried position with accrued time eligibility.
• Accrued Time: Accrued time allows additional compensation or time-off to be earned for any eligible hours worked exceeding 40 hours per week.
• Base Salary Review: This role is eligible to participate in Martin/Martin Wyoming's annual base salary increase review process.
• Annual Bonus: This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary annual bonus program.

Base salary review and increases, in addition to annual bonuses, are dependent on various factors, including a hired individual’s job-level and annual company performance.
