Job summary

Apex Structural Engineering, LLC is seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to join our team in the Nashville area. You will design and analyze structural components under supervision and collaborate with architects and engineers on diverse projects.

You will gain hands-on experience using Tekla Structural Designer, Revit, and other software, developing calculations and contributing to efficient project delivery. A hybrid schedule and relocation support are offered to grow your career.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Master's degree in civil or structural engineering is a plus.
• EIT certification.
• Strong knowledge of relevant building codes, materials, and standards.
• Excellent communication skills are required, both verbal and written.
• Software skills with Tekla Structural Designer, Excel, Idea Statica, BlueBeam, RISA Suite, Revit and Ram Connection.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and review structural components and systems for various projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to develop innovative solutions.
• Calculate development, steel shop drawing reviews, submittal preparation, and RFI development to improve efficiencies.
• Utilize analysis software programs such as Tekla Structural Designer, Excel, Idea Statica, BlueBeam, RISA Suite, Revit and Ram Connection.
• Review 3-D BIM models to aid in building design, connection design and shop drawing reviews.
