We consider candidates for this entry-level position across our California offices (Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco) and Michigan offices (Detroit, Grand Rapids). Multiple location preferences can be indicated in the application.

Compensation and Benefits

Job Description

Contribute to creating safe, well-constructed environments through expert engineering, preparing for PE licensure during training.

Responsibilities
  1. Review architectural and structural drawings for design and analysis.
  2. Prepare engineering calculations with assumptions and narratives.
  3. Assist in resolving construction challenges through coordination, RFIs, submittal reviews, and construction engineering.
  4. Gain exposure to new construction concepts.
Minimum Requirements
  1. MS or BS in Structural Engineering with 1-2 years of experience.
  2. Strong communication skills.
  3. Authorized to work in the U.S.
Desired Requirements
  1. Passing the FE exam.
  2. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Tekla, RISA, RAM, Revit, Excel, MathCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, Python, or similar.
  3. Leadership potential.
  4. Experience in seismic analysis and design is a plus.
