Job summary

Kiewit Industrial & Water Engineering is seeking an Early Career Structural Engineer for the Lone Tree, CO office. You will assist in design preparation, apply standards, and leverage BIM to create plans and drawings for industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering (Structural focus) from ABET-accredited university, with some masters’ coursework preferred.
• 0-2 years’ experience in Structural Design engineering in Industrial/Water.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, databases, word processing and general IT.
• Knowledge and experience with BIM tools: Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks; familiarity with structural analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design preparation for structures, including research, analysis, and drawings for moderate to large projects.
• Apply department and industry standards to calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Leverage BIM to create plans, drawings, and details.
• Coordinate with internal/external partners to address structural issues and ensure project goals are met.
