Job description

As a vital member of our New York City team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on transportation projects focusing on bridge and other transportation structure design, such as tunnels, stations, and transit maintenance facilities. Working alongside technicians and engineers, you’ll assist with project tasks in construction and design, including creating computer models, preparing calculations of section properties and weight take-offs, performing drafting, and handling submittals, site visits, and technical design.

Our Structural/Bridge Engineer evaluates structures of various complexities, prepares plans, designs, calculations, and cost estimates under the supervision of experienced engineers. You will research code issues, collaborate with City, State, and County officials, and explore design options, documenting findings for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.
