As a vital member of our New York City team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on transportation projects focusing on bridge and other transportation structure design, such as tunnels, stations, and transit maintenance facilities. Working alongside technicians and engineers, you’ll assist with project tasks including creating computer models, preparing calculations of section properties and weight take-offs, performing drafting, and handling submittals, site visits, and technical design.
Our Structural/Bridge Engineer evaluates structures of various complexities, prepares plans, designs, calculations, and cost estimates under supervision, researches code issues, and collaborates with City, State, and County officials. They also research design options and document findings for Project Engineers and Managers.

The salary range for this position is $70,400.00 to $100,000.00, determined by location, skills, experience, and education.
