Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Structural Analysis Engineer for the C5ISR group. You will perform hand calculations and FEA to validate shelter designs, modify existing concepts, and drive designs that meet client needs.

Responsibilities include load development, thermal calculations, and design reviews with suppliers and customers. Qualifications include a BA/BS in engineering, at least 1 year of FEA experience (ANSYS preferred), and the ability to obtain a

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering; Mechanical or Aerospace preferred.
• Proficiency with classical stress analysis required.
• Minimum 1 year of FEA experience (ANSYS preferred).
• Defense industry familiarity is a plus for early to mid-career.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Structural Analysis Engineer for simple and complex projects.
• Manage effort and time within budget and schedule.
• Prepare designs per customer requirements and derived specs.
• Create formal engineering documentation and review material.
