Job summary

OnTrack Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator (Level 1) for a steel fabrication environment in Oklahoma City, OK. This full-time role offers hands-on training and opportunities to grow within a high-demand industry.

No advanced experience required; a strong work ethic and reliability will help you start a long-term manufacturing career. You will learn to read measurements, operate equipment safely, and support production teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial work (preferred).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read measurements, decimals, and perform basic math.
• Experience using precision measuring tools (required).
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Basic computer or 10-key skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with steel fabrication, welding prep, and production tasks.
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the shop.
• Perform basic equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Read and take measurements using tape measures, angle finders, and micrometers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
