Arkansas Children's is seeking a Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain the Central Energy Plant machinery, ensuring a stable supply of utilities across all connected buildings while maximizing efficiency and emergency readiness. • Required education: No education required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all plant machinery and systems operate within design specs.
• Monitors building automation to ensure stable utilities.
• Operates HVAC, fire alarm, sprinkler, emergency power, medical gas systems.
• Diagnoses equipment problems with electrical/mechanical tools.
• Responds quickly to alarms to minimize damage and inconvenience.
• Maintains safety procedures and uses PPE.
• Performs preventive maintenance and basic inspections on machinery.
