What You’ll Actually Do

• Transactions: Record transactions in ledgers and prepare trial balances and financial statements using computer software.
• Reconciliations: Reconcile accounts to control accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Computations: Perform schedule computations of accruals, property & equipment, and calculate depreciation expense.
• Procedures: Execute audit or review procedures as assigned by supervisors within allotted timeframes.
• Tax Preparation: Prepare corporate and/or personal income tax returns.

The Must-Haves

• Background: Entry-level professional with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience: Possesses 150 credited hours or is actively working towards obtaining 150 hours to qualify for the CPA exam.
