Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Plymouth, MN seeks an Associate Specialty Test Equipment Engineer (Level 1) to design and deploy production test equipment for military and aerospace products. Onsite role requiring a STEM degree and ability to obtain a U.S. secret clearance.

You will program, debug, and support Design Verification tests, collaborating with suppliers and production teams to improve test efficiency. Proficiency with PXI/GPIB instruments, LabVIEW, Python, and C++ is expected.

Qualifications

BS in physics, EE, CE or equivalent STEM discipline.
Ability to obtain Secret clearance; US citizenship required.
Read schematics and understand embedded software.
Digital/Analog electronics experience for signal conditioning.
Experience in programming languages and test equipment.

Responsibilities

Create production test equipment for military/aerospace products.
Program, debug, and deploy testing equipment that adjusts and certifies device specs.
Design, develop, and implement cost-effective Design Verification tests.
Maintain and update test equipment supporting functional testers.
Support production floor test equipment and design for testability.
