Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist for our Space sector in Chandler, AZ. This entry-level role supports material strategies and cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time delivery and efficient operations.

You will collaborate with production planning, procurement, and logistics to optimize BOM-based requirements, analyze supply risks, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Majored in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering, Economics or similar major.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environments, contributing to collaboration and achieving goals.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and provide insights.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Define and develop material strategies to meet operational goals.
• Assess supply resources, prioritize demand requirements, and plan inventory, distribution, material, and rough-cut capacity for raw materials.
• Serve as the primary focal point for a cross-functional team, providing leadership, guidance, and coordination to ensure effective supply chain execution.
• Engage in long-term capacity and resource planning, including product phase-in/phase-out, ramp-up, end-of-life management, and transitions.
• Analyze and synthesize complex supply/demand requirements to inform strategic decision-making.
• Plan and manage inventory levels based on BOM requirements, creating or reducing supply requirements as needed.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies by conducting lead time analyses and identifying critical paths.
• Apply advanced analytical techniques to evaluate and refine supply chain workflows, addressing inefficiencies and mitigating risks.
• Create and release requisitions, review non-standard part requirements, and support new product scheduling while phasing out obsolete lines.
