Job summary

Cinterra in Virginia is seeking an entry-level Associate Project Manager to support solar construction projects from an office or field location. You will assist the Project Manager on safety, scheduling, contracts, budgets, and quality, while learning to manage utility-scale solar deployments.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, coordination across teams, document control, and timely communications with customers. Travel and long hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy, Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field.
• High School Diploma with 2 years solar construction experience acceptable.
• Recent graduate or 2+ years solar construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with project execution plans and scheduling.
• Track milestones and mobilization dates with the customer project team.
• Review contracts and scope of work prior to execution.
• Prepare change orders and help with cost-to-complete reporting.
• Attend project meetings, document minutes, and provide project summaries.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
