Job summary

GlobalFoundries seeks a new-college-grad software engineer to help build an innovative software performance-tuning application for MIPS RISC-V processors. The role spans frontend to backend, assisting customer onboarding and developer-focused workflows while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The candidate will design, develop, test, and maintain features, participate in code reviews, and contribute to performance improvements across the stack in a growing, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education – Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
• Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, testing, and maintenance of application features.
• Collaborate with engineers, cross-functional teams, and customers to refine requirements.
• Apply testing, debugging, and performance-analysis techniques to improve reliability and usability.
