OnPoint Tech Systems is seeking an Entry Level Smart Home & AV Technician (Level 1) in South Florida. You will assist experienced technicians with smart home, AV, networking, security, and electrical installations on residential and commercial projects.

This role emphasizes hands-on learning in a team environment, with training and advancement opportunities as your skills grow and you take on more responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Be dependable and punctual.
• Comfortable working with hands and learning how things work.
• Have basic experience using hand and power tools.
• Able to follow directions and retain taught material.
• Comfortable on construction sites and in occupied homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with smart home, AV, networking, security, and electrical installations.
• Pull, route, secure, and label low-voltage wiring.
• Help install speakers, televisions, cameras, network equipment, lighting controls, and other devices.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely.
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment.
• Help organize equipment, inventory, and project materials in the warehouse.
• Keep company vehicles, jobsites, and work areas clean and organized.
• Complete project photos, labeling, and basic documentation.
• Follow instructions from lead technicians and project managers.
• Learn how integrated technology systems are installed, tested, and serviced.
