Job summary

Canon Business Process Services is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Associate in San Francisco. Under general supervision, you will handle picking, packing, and shipping of inbound and outbound shipments, and prepare bills of lading for freight carriers.

You will assist in loading trucks and obtain signatures, while ensuring accurate recording of material and shipment data. Responsibilities include assembling orders, recording shipment details, receiving and unpacking materials, reporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Entry level position with on-the-job training provided.
• Excellent customer service, professional appearance, and demeanor expected.
• Ability to work overtime and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment.
• Record shipment data including weight, charges, and space availability.
• Receive and unpack materials and supplies.
• Report damages and discrepancies for reimbursement or re-shipment.
• Maintain logs of all shipments outgoing and incoming.
• Prepare monthly production and volume reports for productivity and billing.
• Unpack shipments, reject damaged items, and coordinate with shippers.
• Convey materials from receiving/production to storage or other areas.
• Fill requisitions and distribute stock items as needed.
• Post weights and shipping charges and affix postage.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
