Job summary

GSM Services is seeking an entry-level Sheet Metal Fabricator to learn the fundamentals of sheet metal fabrication while supporting our Commercial and Residential HVAC teams. No prior fabrication experience is required, and we are willing to train the right candidate.

COMPENSATION Pay Range: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. Opportunities for wage increases based on performance and skill development are provided.

Qualifications

• GOOD attendance - someone who shows up every day ready and able to work.
• Desire to learn a skilled trade and develop a long-term career.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work with hand and power tools.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid North Carolina or South Carolina driver's license preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Learn to fabricate sheet metal components used in HVAC installations.
• Organize materials and fabricated products for upcoming jobs.
• Read and interpret basic sketches, drawings, and work instructions.
• Label and prepare fabricated materials for field installation teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and standards.

As an Entry-Level Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will learn the fundamentals of sheet metal fabrication while supporting our Commercial and Residential HVAC teams. No sheet metal fabrication experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

COMPENSATION Pay Range: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

$17.00 - $19.00/hr: Entry-level candidates with little to no fabrication experience.

$19.00 - $21.00/hr: Candidates with manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or trade school experience.

$21.00 - $23.00/hr: Candidates with relevant sheet metal, HVAC, fabrication, or apprenticeship experience.
