Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Sewing Operator (Level One) to operate or tend sewing machines for joining, reinforcing, and decorating fabrics at our Frederica, Delaware facility. This entry-level role offers a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and includes a formal skills evaluation for progression.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass sewing aptitude evaluation.
• Basic reading and math skills for measurements.

Responsibilities

• Sew materials by hand or machine to join or decorate fabrics.
• Operate or tend sewing machines; set up and adjust equipment.
• Cut materials per specifications and remove excess threads.
• Position materials for sewing; align patterns and folds.
• Monitor stitching quality and fix minor issues.
• Ensure adherence to cGMP and work instructions.
