Job summary

Ed Morse Automotive Group is seeking an Entry Level Service Technician to join our Ed Morse team. This position offers the opportunity to grow within a family-oriented company with a long history in the automotive industry.

The role involves performing maintenance and repair orders, selling lubrication and safety services, inspecting fluids, tire checks, and coordinating with parts and service advisors. Background checks and DMV/drug screens are required.

Qualifications

• As an Automotive Technician, you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver.
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Must be willing to submit to a background check, DMV screen, and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Entry Level Automotive technicians perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Sells lubrication, safety inspection and other related services
• Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replenishes as necessary
• Checks tire pressure and adds air if needed
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
• Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order
• Road tests vehicles

Responsibilities

• Entry Level Automotive technicians perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
