Job summary

Ed Morse Automotive Group in Delray Beach seeks an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles across a range of brands. You will provide accurate labor estimates, explain repairs to customers, and work with a team to deliver quality service.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• ASE Certified.
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check, DMV screen, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems to specification.
• Provide labor and time estimates for repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses in non-technical terms to service advisors and customers.
• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and dealership standards.
• Stay current with new technical information via formal training sessions.
• Inspect and test vehicles and record findings for necessary repairs.

We are currently seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our Ed Morse team.

Responsibilities

• As a Technician you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver.
• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
  
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
• Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
